We are excited to announce that effective April 8, 2016 Autoclave Testing Services (“ATS”) is now a part of Mesa Laboratories, Inc. (“Mesa”)! Mesa also acquired North Bay Bioscience, a leading sterilizer monitoring company in the U.S., in 2015 and continues to operate that facility. Our newest acquisition is yet another great example of Mesa’s commitment to work directly with its clients to provide the highest level of service possible.
Mesa is a leading manufacturer and provider of sterilization monitoring products to the healthcare, dental, and life science markets. These products include mail-in spore testing kits, self-contained biological indicators, chemical indicators and record keeping. You can learn more about Mesa Labs by visiting www.mesalabs.com.
ATS had been looking for a partner to take over and manage their sterilization monitoring business. With Mesa, ATS has found a partner that is a leading manufacturer and expert in sterilization monitoring and biological indicator products. Mesa has been providing self-contained biological indicators and spore strips to ATS for a number of years. When ATS decided to sell their business, Mesa was the most qualified partner to take over managing the sterilization monitoring needs of ATS clients. Mesa will serve U.S. customers from their facility in Traverse City, MI and Canadian clients from Mesa Canada in Markham, ON.
There are a few differences between the ATS and Mesa Labs Mail-In spore testing service, however we are sure that current and future clients will find the Mesa Labs Mail-In Service easy-to-use and we will do our best to ensure a smooth transition for all of our clients. ATS clients will now have access to: matching control strips with every test strip, individual barcoded test packet envelopes for each sterilizer, email test results, email reminders-to-test, Online Anytime Compliance Tracking portal for test results (www.sporetesting.com), Gram’s stain verification of all failed spore tests and prompt phone notification and technical support.
Mesa and ATS have been and will continue to work closely together to ensure this change is as seamless as possible. Our customers are critical to our success and their satisfaction is our top priority!
